Code of Conduct
Inside Out Run Club, powered by Inside Out Impact Inc. 501(c)(3), is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants.
By participating in any run, event, training program, or affiliated activity, you agree to uphold the following standards.
1. Respect & Inclusion
We welcome individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and fitness levels.
Discrimination, harassment, or exclusionary behavior based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, body size, ability, or any protected characteristic will not be tolerated.
We are a community built on mutual respect.
2. Inclusive Pace Culture
All paces are welcome.
Participants are expected to encourage one another and contribute to a supportive atmosphere. Pace shaming, negative comments, or hostile competitiveness are not acceptable.
3. Safety First
Participants must:

Follow designated routes and leader instructions

Obey all traffic laws and public safety regulations

Remain aware of surroundings

Notify a leader if leaving the group early
Leadership reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel events for safety reasons.
4. Harassment & Misconduct
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

Unwanted physical contact

Sexual harassment or advances

Threatening or intimidating behavior

Verbal abuse
-
Online harassment connected to club activities
Any participant engaging in misconduct may be subject to removal without refund.
5. Substance Policy
Illegal substances are prohibited at all club events.
Alcohol is not permitted during training runs unless explicitly stated for a licensed or permitted event.
6. Representation & Media
Participants may not misrepresent the organization, leadership decisions, or use the club’s name in a defamatory or harmful manner.
Respect the privacy of fellow members when sharing photos or content online.
7. Enforcement
Inside Out Run Club leadership reserves the right to:

Issue warnings

Remove participants from events
-
Suspend or revoke membership

Deny future participation
All decisions are made in the interest of community safety and integrity.
